Biography

Christos is Associate Professor in Innovation and Entrepreneurship at Warwick Business School (WBS). Funded by the Kauffman Foundation, he received his PhD in Applied Economics at the University of Missouri - Columbia. Before joining WBS he was at the faculty at the University of Bath School of Management.

His research is on topics related to the economics and management of innovation and science and entrepreneurial finance. It has been funded by the National Science Foundation, has won awards such as the 2017 DRUID conference best paper and has appeared in several journals, including Review of Economics and Statistics, Organization Science, Strategic Management Journal, Research Policy, Journal of Business Venturing, Strategic Entrepreneurship Journal and Industrial and Corporate Change.

He has supervised four doctoral students so far. They have all been placed in academic posts at Aarhus University, ALBA Graduate Business School, Rotterdam School of Management and Warwick Business School.
